Alfred E. Osborne, Jr. is Senior Associate Dean of UCLA Anderson. Gandhian, toy inventor and propagator of science, Arvind believes in making a difference. Deepak manages Aarin Capital, which has made several large & mid-size, and seed investments. Deepak works closely with founders to help and facilitate them create value and grow their businesses from idea through exit. He has also ideated, structured, set-up & raised capital for several of the funds anchored by Aarin and for co-investments. He is on the board and investment committees of some of the investee companies and funds.
From early 2008 to early 2010, Deepak was CFO at a Sequoia funded tech startup, later sold to a leading mid-tier Indian outsourcer. He found people were relying on chemists and drugstores to solve their health related problems. Thus Lybrate was born. It connected patients with doctors and let them communicate using their phone. Today Lybrate has over 100,000 doctors from across India. Saurabh used the same technique to connect SMEs and advertisers to customers, only here he connected doctors with patients.
Sharad Sharma
Sharad Sharma started his career in software 30 years back. Ever since, he has held various positions in several companies and has emerged as an evangelist for technology based startups. At present he is an orbit change catalyst who helps big and small companies grow by finding out key areas where they need to improve. He is co-founder of Tetlier, (part of Cisco) iSpirit Foundation and BrandSigma inc. He is passionate about the software product ecosystem in India. As an angel investor he has invested in more than 20 companies and therefore is a common name in the startup world. In fact, iSpirit was born as a thinktank for the software product industry.
Dr. Shuji Honjo
Dr. Honjo is Managing Director of Honjo International, a business consulting firm in Tokyo. Mr. Honjo is on the board of many companies in varying capacities including Realcom K.K. and NetService Ventures Group as an advisor and, SVP, principal investment practice at Lehman Brothers Japan. He is also the hand behind Tokyo office of General Atlantic LLC.He has an extensive business consulting, finance and operational experience with Boston Consulting Group (Tokyo), Computer Sciences Corporation (California), CSK/SEGA Group, General Atlantic, Lehman Brothers, and Punk Rock bands. Dr. Honjo has been instrumental in 500’s Japan initiatives. He is also an established speaker, panellist, moderator, contest judge and author of several books and articles.
Dr. Honjo is visiting a professor at Tama Graduate School of Business. He is also a member of the editorial committee for Japan Marketing Association. Dr. Honjo has PhD in International Studies from Waseda University, an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.S. from the University of Tokyo.
Shiva Ayyadurai
Shiva Ayyadurai is a scientist and entrepreneur. He is also known as the the inventor of email and polymath. Ayyadurai holds four degrees from MIT, including a Ph.D. in biological engineering, and is a Fulbright Scholar. He created CytoSolve, a scalable computational platform for modeling the cell by dynamic integration of molecular pathways models for discovering multi-combination therapeutics while at MIT. Today he is Chairman & CEO of CytoSolve, Inc. He also founded Systems Health, a new educational program that provides a scientific foundation of integrative medicine. While at MIT, he also developed a pioneering new course called Systems Visualization which integrates systems theory, narrative storytelling, metaphor and data visualization to provide visualization of complex systems.
He is also the author of four books on the Internet and EMAIL. He serves as a consultant to CEOs and Executive Management at Fortune 1000 companies, as well as government organizations such as the United States Postal Service, Office of Inspector General.

Sid is a Co-founder and Partner at Lightbox, a venture capital firm based out of India. Lightbox invests in emerging technology companies at an early stage. Prior to Lightbox, Sid founded Evolv, a vocational training company funded by Singapore Technologies which he sold to NIIT in 2007.
